Ngöndro Retreat at the Farmhouse - New Date and Time - Friday, June 11th, 4pm to 8pm

Our Ngöndro retreat in June is getting a slightly new date and time: Friday, June 11th, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.  (It was previously scheduled for Saturday the 12th, from 12 to 4, but we just did not want to wait) (just kidding).  We will now also be webcasting this retreat! Appropriate for both beginners & advanced practitioners, Ngöndro is an essential practice of all schools of Tibetan Buddhism. Each of the four main schools of Tibetan Buddhism—Gelug, Kagyu, Nyingma and Sakya-- has variations as to the order of the preliminaries, the lineage gurus and deities invoked, prayers, and so on.  The renowned Lama Patrul Rinpoche (1808-1887) is said to have practiced the Longchen Nyingthig Ngöndro repeatedly throughout his life.  To learn more about this wonderful offering, just zip over to our calendar.  Or, to register without even going to the calendar (live or webcast) - please email our retreat coordinator, Susan Simmons.
