An Evening of Metta - Wednesday June 19, 7pm-8pm  

“If you want others to be happy, practice loving-kindness and compassion; if you want yourself to be happy, practice loving-kindness and compassion.” -His Holiness The Dalai Lama 

Please join Bill Stauffer and Sue Passante as your hosts for another Evening of Metta – a special practice that sends loving-kindness and compassion to all beings.  As Lama Losang described in his recent letter to the Sangha, suffering is seen and felt throughout the world at this time.  Recent events have thrust into our collective consciousness the widespread human suffering from social injustice, racism, hatred and violence; suffering from covid-19, illness and disease, from poverty, unemployment, homelessness, lack of adequate medical care and food insecurity.   And, untold numbers of people are grieving the loss of their loved ones from these tragic conditions.    

From the Buddhist perspective, all living beings are precious.…
