Book Sale at Clark Park

The Chenrezig Tibetan Buddhist Center is very pleased to announce that on September 14, (rain date September 15th) we will be bringing our book sale to the:

 One Africa! One Nation! Uhuru Book Fair & Marketplace in Clark Park

4300 Baltimore Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19104

September 14 (raindate September 15); 9am-5pm

One Africa! One Nation! Uhuru Book Fair + Marketplace - One Africa! One Nation! Uhuru Flea Market (oneafricamarketphilly.org) UBFFM is a free all-day festival in West Philadelphia’s Clark Park featuring poetry, spoken word, authors & their books, special activities for children, music, food, and vendors! 

Free education resources will be available throughout the day to address adult literacy, English as a Second Language (ESL), and the community-wide lack of access to reading materials and education resources. 

VOLUNTEER

We are going to need volunteers for set up, tending the table and breaking down at the end of the day. The set up time is 7-9am, the book sale hours are 9am - 5pm.

Stephen Liu will be the point person for volunteers. We wholeheartedly agree with Stephen’s words that these are “Precious opportunities for this Sangha to spread the Dharma.”  Email info@tibetanbuddhist.org if interested in volunteering!
