The Buddha and King Pasenadi Discuss the Four Mountains
King Pasenadi of Kosala was a student of the Buddha’s, and they had many conversations together about Dharma. In fact, one entire Chapter of the Samyutta Nikaya (a Pali text) only contains teachings the Buddha gave to King Pasenadi.
On Sunday we will review the spiritual path and will consider a teaching called “The Four Mountains” which the Buddha gave to King Pasenadi. Can this teaching help strengthen my motivation to practice?
