Tony Boris is a Senior Teacher at the TBC and a former president of the center. As a teacher of dharma, Tony is committed to fostering people’s ability to engage with their practice as with their everyday lives - without self-censorship or judgment, embracing the richness of their experience. Through this approach, Tony aims to help individuals cultivate a deeper, more authentic and beneficial connection to their spiritual practice, to themselves and to others. He has received teachings and empowerments from many great teachers over the years including his teacher Ven. Lama Losang Samten and His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. A lifelong musician and composer, he lives in New York with his wife Darlene and their dog, Zelda.
